The Vixen Portable EQ Mount is used when installing the Starry Sky Platform Polarie U. When adjusting the polar axis precisely using the polar axis telescope PF-LII, it is necessary to move the starry sky platform itself vertically (horizontally) (fine movement), but by using the polar axis fine movement platform, this fine movement Operation is possible.

Compatible with the Starry Sky Platform Polarie U equipped with a compatible pedestal, as well as the Starry Sky Platform Polarie, AP Starry Sky Platform, single-lens camera body (commercially available product), etc. in combination with the included quick release angle plate (thin size).

Compatible with plate holder SX (sold separately)

Astronomical general standard screws with M8 screws arranged at 35 mm intervals. By installing the plate holder SX (sold separately), you can also mount the astronomical telescope lens barrel such as FL55SS.

Compatible with a variety of tripods such as 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch and tripods for astronomical telescopes

Equipped with a removable tripod adapter on the bottom.The tripod adapter is equipped with a 3/8 inch screw, and it also supports the 1/4 inch standard by using the conversion adapter together. Can be widely installed on camera tripods sold separately or on the market. Also, by replacing the camera tripod adapter plate (installed in the main body) with the attached astronomical telescope tripod adapter, it can also be mounted on the astronomical telescope tripods such as APP-TL130. Wide setting range: altitude -35 to 90°, azimuth 360° (stepless)

The platform surface can be freely moved at an altitude of 0° to 90° and azimuth of 360° by loosening the clamp, and it can be used in a wide range of areas and situations. Fine adjustment allows fine adjustment up to 7.5°. Movable over 90° up to about 35° (-35°) on the other side

Double screw type fine adjustment screw that can be securely fixed

The altitude fine movement and the direction fine movement have adopted the double screw type which operates by loosening one screw and tightening the other. Since it is sandwiched with screws from both sides, it is possible to achieve both fine movement and strong fixing. If you like, you can use the included hex wrench to tighten the screws.
