This preowned SMDV RFN3 Wireless shutter release for Nikon D70s, D80. RF-N3 / The transmitted signal triggers cameras157661.0 inside buildings, outside, and behind corners or walls. It can be selected on one of 16 different channels to avoid interference with other transmissions. The receiver does not need to be in direct line with the transmitter to receive the signal.
The receiver is mounted on the flash shoe (or can be attached laterally) while the related cable is connected to the digital camera.
The transmitter has an on/off switch and a trigger button with 2 steps (1 = focus and 2 = trigger).
This device can also be used as a cable shutter release: press the large button halfway to focus, then press all the way down to release the shutter. For the bulb trigger (B), the receiver does not have a locking system for the trigger button, but you can keep the button pressed as long as you want the exposure to last. On the back of the receiver as well as the transmitter there are 4 switches for frequency, with the help of which one of the 16 working channels can be selected.
Mounting the receiver on the camera is an extremely simple operation: insert the battery into the receiver, mount it on the camera's flash shoe, connect the cable connecting the receiver and the camera and press the button next to which is the POWER sign. (small button). A blue LED will flash, a sign that it is working and can receive the signal. When the trigger button on the transmitter is pressed, a red LED will light up on the receiver (signal reception confirmation). The transmitter works with a 23A/12V battery (is not included), while the receiver is powered by a CR2 3V battery ( included in this package) - the receiver can also work without a battery if you use it as a cable trigger the receiver being powered directly from the room through the connecting cable.
