The new Product Showcase setting is a true groundbreaking focus mode if you have ever had a camera loose focus to the background. It lets the camera switch focus between the self shooter/presenter and a product or object placed closer to the lens - no more 'waving', holding a hand behind the object or other silly tricks to get the camera to focus! Object tracking focus mode is also available and multiple subjects can be tracked and switched between. Both autofocus speed and tracking sensitivity are adjustable settings in this mode. Additionally, a directional three-capsule microphone on top of the camera ensures clear audio recording, even in windy conditions by use of the included windscreen which mounts onto the Multi Interface Shoe.
In-body stabilisation and the latest generation of BIOZ X image processor is also included for smooth and steady footage. The Sony ZV-1 Camera can record 4K video with full pixel readout and no pixel binning in the XAVC S codec. Hybrid Log Gamma mode, alongside S-Gamut3.Cine / S-Log3, and S-Gamut3 / S-Log3 are available and slow-motion video is possible at up to 1000fps. For the professional content creator, there's also a front-mounted tally light, to indicate when the camera is recording.
When filming a longer piece to the camera the Sony ZV-1 has you covered with a 3.5mm microphone input for external audio and a Multi Interface Shot for mounting microphones, LED lights or other accessories making your content creation a breeze in the park.
