Leica sets a new standard for rangefinding binoculars with the Leica Geovid R 8x42 Binoculars Perfectly suited for hunters and long range shooters, the Geovid R 8x42 works well in low light situations such as dawn or dusk, and was designed with an emphasis on stability and a wide field of view. It comes equipped with precision laser technology, capable of providing accurate ranges on targets up to 2000 yards away and features two measuring modes: Scanning Mode and Single Measurement. The Geovid R’s precise laser range finder is perfectly complimented by its impressive optical performance, allowing the user to consistently identify even the smallest details in any situation or environment. The quality of the optics is thanks to a modified Uppendahl Prism System, as well as an HDC multi-layer lens coating to provide enhanced light transmission. In addition, the Geovid R 8x42 offers excellent ergonomics with larger controls in strategic locations for ease of use and longer glassing sessions.
