The 77mm Collapsible Rubber Lens Hood helps to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by shading the front element of the lens. Its collapsible, rubber design enables it to remain on your lens at all times without requiring much additional space and it also serves to protect the lens from accidental impact.
This lens hood has a 77mm threaded screw-in design and is intended for use with normal focal lengths. It is double threaded to permit the attachment of a 77mm filter when the lens hood is in place.
