Its collapsible, rubber design enables it to remain on your lens at all times without requiring much additional space and it also serves to protect the lens from accidental impact.
This lens hood has a 67mm threaded screw-in design and is intended for use with normal focal lengths. It is double threaded to permit the attachment of a 67mm filter when the lens hood is in place.
