The Gitzo GS3313GS Geared Center Column for Series 3 and 4 Systematic Tripods is an aluminium centre column designed for use with series 3 and 4 Systematic tripods. The column may be installed by removing the tripod's base plate, inserting the centre column, and locking the column in place.

Geared mechanism

The primary feature of the Gitzo GS3313GS Geared Center Column for Series 3 and 4 Systematic Tripods is its geared mechanism, which allows the user to make incremental vertical adjustments with the use of an integrated cranking handle. When the desired height is reached the user may then use the disc-lock equipped central collar to lock the column in place

Native height

The column features a native height of 47cm which includes 32cm of travel distance from maximum height to the minimum height

Lightweight

It weighs 1.1 kgs, a manageable weight which complements its professional quality and durability, and also includes a bottom-mounted ballast hook for adding additional stabilizing weight if needed
