The Bushnell Engage 10x42 Binoculars with best-in-class optics and with new industry leading features is ideal for when you're out birding, hunting, hiking, camping, enjoying sporting events, or sightseeing around the town or the world. The fully multi-coated optics offer maximum brightness and clarity, and they’re housed in a lightweight and rugged magnesium chassis. Backed by the all-weather assurance of Bushnell’s exclusive EXO Barrier lens coating – it repels water, debris, oil and fog. A locking eyepiece diopter ensure razor sharp images every time.

To deliver peak performance, it is outfitted with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, broadband anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics, dielectric coated and phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, and protective exterior lens coatings that work together to maximize light transmission through the entire light path without colour fringing. The results are bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color fidelity and crisp resolution across the entire visual spectrum, even in challenging conditions such as at dawn and dusk.

Bushnell built the Engage to make it easy and comfortable to hold and allow it to withstand the harshest elements. Its design provides an ergonomic and balanced feel in the hand that also provides the strength and stability required of workhorse binoculars like these. Protecting the optical components is a rubber armor outfitted with textured palm pads that provide a sure and secure grip.

Optical Performance

Offering a high 10x magnification enables detailed observations of distant subjects. EXO Barrier

EXO Barrier, quite simply, is the best protective lens coating technology Bushnell® has ever developed. Added at the very last step of the coating process, EXO Barrier molecularly bonds to the lens and fills the microscopic pores in the glass. The resulting ultra-slick coating repels water, oil, fog, dust and debris. Rain, snow, fingerprints and dirt will simply not stick.

PC-3 Phase Coating

Bushnell's exclusive PC3 Phase Coating is applied to the prisms to bring each image into sync after it has been halved and rejoined after being split by a roof prism optical system.

Fully Multi-Coated Optics

All air-to-glass surfaces feature multiple layers of anti-reflective coating. Index-matched broadband anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics are specifically engineered to match each lens element to further improve light transmission, contrast, and colour fidelity across the entire visible spectrum delivering the brightest, highest-contrast images with the least amount of eye strain as only a very small percentage of light is lost before it reaches the viewer's eye.

Ergonomic waterproof design

Ergonomic body design positions the hand over the binocular's center of balance for additional comfort and reduced strain and fatigue while the closed bridge design provides a solid and stable platform for the internal focus mechanism. The large slip-resistant center focusing wheel is easy to manipulate in cold and wet weather, even while wearing gloves.
