The Rode NT6 Microphone is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone with a remote capsule, specifically designed for difficult mounting applications where the highest quality audio is required.
The microphone is split into two modular components that are connected via a custom 3-metre shielded, Kevlar-reinforced cable. The head features a 1/2-inch gold-sputtered condenser capsule with a multi-position mounting ring that provides 180 degrees of vertical rotation. The body houses the microphone preamp, which features a high-pass filter (80Hz) and a -10dB pad.
