The Jinbei HD2 MAX TTL On Camera Flash is a refreshed version of the universal reporter lamp HD-2 Pro. The 80Ws device is powered by a lithium-polymer battery with increased capacity (now up to 450 flashes at full power on a single charge). The lamp is characterized by a universal foot suitable for Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus, Panasonic and Sony* systems. The device operates in two flash modes: M and TTL. Jinbei HD-2 MAX has a round burner and a large, easy-to-read 2.8" touch screen.
Jinbei HD-2 MAX is quite light for its performance, weighing 460g. The round burner inside the innovative head provides better diffused and more natural light compared to traditional "system lamps". The head also offers the ability to adjust the position of the burner in five steps (in the equivalent of a 28-105mm zoom). The maximum flash energy of this lamp is 80Ws. The light stream is emitted at a color temperature of 5500K with a deviation of +/-150K. The head can be tilted in the range of 90° and rotated in the range of 360°. Inside the head there is also a 3W LED responsible for the modeling light. The light source is made in efficient LED COB technology..
The Jinbei HD-2 MAX lamp works in two flash triggering modes: Manual in the range of 1/1 - 1/256 and TTL with the possibility of correction in the range of +/- 3EV. In addition, it offers flash synchronization modes for the first and second curtain shutter. Synchronization with short HSS times is also standard in this class of devices. Flash duration ranges from 1/800 to 1/10000s (for t0.1). Optionally, the lamp offers an additional Freeze flash synchronization mode, where the flash duration is even shorter and reaches up to 1/50000s.
The device can work in Master and Slave mode thanks to the built-in 2.4GHz receiver and trigger. The HD-2 MAX lamp works with Jinbei TR-Q6, TR-V6, TR-V6II and TR-Q7II transmitters. It enables communication within 31 channels and 6 flash groups. Additionally, it supports Canon-RT trigger mode.
An important element of the HD-2 MAX lamp is its large, easy-to-read 2.8" touch screen. Thanks to the tile menu, lamp operation is simple and intuitive.
The device is powered by a 11.1V lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1600mAh. A fully charged cell allows for up to 450 flashes at full power. The battery is easy to disassemble, and its charge level is indicated by the icon in the lower right part of the screen.
The universality of the device is evidenced by the hot shoe used, known from the Jinbei TR-Q7 trigger. It allows the HD-2 MAX to be mounted on Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus and Panasonic cameras without the need for additional adapters (an adapter is required for mounting on Sony cameras with a Multi Interface socket).
