Manfrotto MVH502AH Pro Video Head Flat Base 3/8 Thread

The Manfrotto MVH502AH Pro Video Head is an affordable yet fully-featured professional head that offers with sturdy construction and featuring Manfrotto's patented bridging technology.

The bridging technology ensures that the pan friction control is intuitive and easy to set, but also protected against knocks. There are of course independent locks for pan and tilt, and drag for both is selectable in a continuous range from zero to the max level. This allows you to operate the head in a confident, smooth manner using the included pan bar. To give videographers the ideal camera supports for the latest camera equipment and set-ups, Manfrotto has extended the range of Bridging Technology products and is pleased to introduce the new 502 Head. The  MVH502AH has a flat base with 3/8" thread and is best matched with either 755XB or 755CX tripods.

The PAN and TILT movements are smoothed by ball-bearing units that remove all unwanted vibration across all operating temperatures. Both heads have a variable Fluid Drag System (FDS) with adjustable cartridges. The ergonomics of the PAN fluidity controls have been noticeably improved.

Counterbalance system

Our CounterBalance System (CBS) ensures that set-up and fine-tuning of the head for optimal performance is fast and easy, no matter how the camera's weight is distributed, in turn making shooting easier to control and keeping valuable equipment more securely supported.

Better ergonomics

The new quick release button has been moved for better accessibility. The pan bar can be attached to either the left or the right side of the head depending on preference, and also provides improved ergonomics thanks to the quality and textures of the materials chosen which allow for a steadier, more comfortable grip.
