Instant Set-Up

Ready to use out of the box the AVX-MKE2SET features self-configuring digital transmission with Auto Frequency Management eliminating complex, time-consuming radio frequency setup. The receiver switches on with the camera’s Phantom power and automatically pairs with the receiver, so it is instantly ready to record when the camera is turned on.

Auto Dynamic Range Setting

The system is designed to automatically match the input sensitivity of the recording device and keep signal levels within an optimum range for perfectly levelled sound. You do not have to manually adjust the audio levels on the microphone or the camera.

Link Protection

To ensure a reliable audio transmission between the microphone and the camera, the system seamlessly switches to the best operating frequency ensuring crystal clear, uninterrupted recording stability.

Clever Energy Management

Equipped with Adaptive RF power switching, the system draws optimum power based on the distance between the microphone and the camera. Close proximity between the transmitter and receiver unit automatically lowers the RF strength to a level required to maintain a reliable and stable connection. This reduces battery power consumption to provide longer operation time.

Long Battery Life

The transmitter and Receiver are powered by internal lithium-ion batteries providing up to 15 hours operating time for the transmitter and approximately 5 hours for the receiver. This ensures that you do not have to switch batteries in the midst of a critical shoot. The receiver is also able to receive 48V power from compatible cameras, and switches between phantom and battery power automatically to further your shooting potential.

Plug and Record Receiver

The wireless receiver plugs directly into the XLR audio input of your camera, eliminating dangling cables for a sleek set up. Turning on and off automatically upon detecting phantom power ensures the impact on your cameras battery is minimal.

Pivoting XLR Plug

The receiver’s XLR plug features a rotating mechanism allowing you to reposition it to adjust with the contours of your camera body or to accommodate other camera accessories.

DSLR Mounting Option

For cameras without an XLR input and DSLRs that only accept audio via a 3.5mm mini-jack input, the kit comes with a female XLR to 3.5mm adapter cable plus a mounting assembly to attach the receiver to the camera’s shoe mount.

Bodypack Transmitter

The compact and lightweight transmitter features a 3.5mm locking jack plug and accepts a microphone or a line level source giving you the ability to use a microphone that suits your specific shooting requirements.

Omni-Directional Lavalier Microphone

The included Sennheiser MKE 2 Lavalier condenser lapel microphone features a high sensitivity and a wide frequency response suitable for both speech and instrument miking applications. Its omnidirectional polar pattern provides even sensitivity for sound gathering equally from all directions. A low profile design makes it easy to conceal and unobtrusive to wear, and a special umbrella diaphragm protects the mic from moisture and sweat.
