When using a Sony or Panasonic microphone adapter on top of your small camera, add a durable top handle that will clear the height of the adapter with this SmallRig Top Handle for Sony XLR-K1M / K2M / K3M and Panasonic DMW-XLR1 / XLR2 3082. The top handle mounts on top of a SmallRig cage designed for select Sony or Panasonic cameras using two captive 1/4"-20 screws. It can adjust vertically up to 1" or horizontally up to 2.5", depending on the height of the audio adapter that is installed on top of the camera.
The durable aluminum handle features multiple 1/4"-20 threads, 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory mounts, and two shoe mounts. The included Allen wrench stores in the handgrip for easy access when you want to adjust the position or mount/remove the handle. The maximum load capacity for the top handle is 17.6 lb.
