Frequently Asked Questions

How do I return my equipment if I don't need it anymore?

Simply phone digiRent's service team on 1300 858 911 and they will provide you contact details for their courier who will collect and return the equipment for a nominal fee. Naturally you can return the equipment to the retailer at no charge.

Do I need to return all the equipment at the same time?

No, you can return the items progressively as you upgrade. The direct debit will also be reduced accordingly.

Can I purchase my equipment?

Yes, at any time during your rental agreement, simply contact digiRent's service team on 1300 858 911 who will advise you of the purchase price of the equipment.

What about insurance?

digiRent does not provide insurance and it is the responsibility of the renter to insure the equipment against theft and accidental damage. Ask your home insurer to add the equipment to your home and contents policy or contact digiRent's service team on 1300 858 911 for further information.

What about repairs and servicing?

Under normal use and wear and tear, digiRent will repair or replace the equipment at no additional charge. Damage attributable to misuse and/or neglect will be charged to the renter at the repair cost or replacement cost of the equipment.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 12 months, after which you can return the equipment at any time, with a minimum of 30 days written notice.

How are payments debited?

Payments are debited from your nominated bank account or credit card on the same day each month (or fortnight if fortnightly payments were selected). You will receive a receipt via email after each payment.
