The Rode BoomPole Pro ( Carbon Fibre ) BOOMPOLEPRO is a precision balanced professional boom pole for location recording, machined from high grade, lightweight aluminium. Designed for use with professional shotgun microphones such as the RODE NTG3 (separately sold) as well as the Blimp windshield system (separately sold), the Rode Boompole Pro joins RODEs popular boom pole range which now consists of five models ranging in size, weight, and construction material.
The Rode BoomPole Pro ( Carbon Fibre ) BOOMPOLEPRO is a compact carbon fiber boompole that extends from 0.82m in length to a full 2.9m, and it is designed for use with professional shotgun microphones. The five carbon fiber sections make it lightweight while maintaining strength, and they are easily extendable with one hand using the intuitive twist-lock mechanism.
Each of the five pole sections is comprised completely from carbon fibre making it incredible lightweight while maintaining high levels of strength. The sections are easily extendable with one hand thanks to an intuitive twist-lock mechanic. The RODE offers boom pole cable clips (separately sold) as an optional accessory, however the company's new RODELink wireless XLR adaptor (separately sold) allows users to record audio from a shotgun microphone on the end of the Rode Boompole Pro without the hassle and possible handling noise of cables.
