Incorporate this ultracompact, lightweight PolarPro Pivot Shoulder Rig System into your gear loadout for a versatile shoulder rig with various tool-free customizations. A quick release plate, adjustable shoulder pad, and dual handgrips can be manipulated to best suit the size demands of your camera and provide maximum comfort. The Pivot can conform to seven different positions, depending on the needs of your shoot. Compacting the rig enables it to slide easily into a backpack for transport.
Solo shooters can benefit most from the setup/pit crew position which provides a stable platform for rig adjustments like lens or filter swaps. Centering the camera into the on-shoulder position provides ultimate stability for heavier setups, while the over-the-shoulder position adjusts the pad to 90° and is best for one-handed actions like pulling focus on smaller rigs. The non-monitor position moves the baseplate forward so the user can view the built-in monitor on their camera. A chest-press orientation allows the shoulder pad to become a point of contact with the chest, stomach, or hip for low-angle stability. Removing the shoulder pad entirely allows you to slide the entire rig onto a tripod for efficient transitioning from handheld to stabilized shooting.
