The PolarPro Helix MagLock Burkard Series ND8 ND Filter was developed to both eliminate the hassle of threading filters on and off, while also providing a filter that's safely locked in place once installed. Unlike other magnetic filter systems on the market; Helix provides a completely secure connection using our magnetic + quarter-turn locking mechanism, making it lightning-fast to install/remove filters while also ensuring they stay locked in position during the most demanding shooting situations. Seriously, these filters won't go anywhere until you're ready to remove them from your lens! With available 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm brass thread bases, Helix will easily cover your entire lens arsenal
Neutral Density Filters have an evenly distributed coating throughout the lens that provides light filtration by a certain degree of strength. The strength of the filter can be referred to by f-stops. The three filters range from 3-stops (ND8) to 6-stops (ND64)to 10-stops (ND1000). This ND8 filter for the Helix MagLock System offering a 3-stop reduction is great for videography use cases when controlling shutter speed for wider apertures in darker lighting scenarios such as dawn or dusk.
