The Monster Orb Smart LED Light (MLB7‑1076‑WW) uses Wi‑Fi, and it is powered by a built‑in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery with USB charging.
✔ Connectivity
According to the official product documentation, the Orb connects to your home 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi network for app control, voice assistant integration, colour/effect customisation and scheduling. Wi‑Fi is required for full smart features (Monster Smart App, Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, Razer Chroma RGB).
Bluetooth may assist pairing during setup, but the device itself operates over Wi‑Fi, not Bluetooth.
✔ Power
The Orb includes a built‑in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery and charges via USB (micro‑USB to USB‑A cable). You can run it wirelessly or leave it plugged into any 5V USB power source.
