Several 3/8" threads with ARRI locating holes provide the option to attach monitor mounts and various other accessories.

Diverse Accessory Attachment
Designed with numerous 1/4” threaded holes, the cage allows mounting of several accessories at one time, including magic arms and ball head adapters, two cold shoes connect a small microphone and an LED light for enhanced video quality. And a 3/8” thread with ARRI locating holes can attach a top handle or field monitor
