The Jabra BIZ 1500 Duo USB Corded Headset is Jabra’s no frills, entry headset, which can be used with your computer. It comes in a box with a USB connection. It has a noise-cancelling microphone that rotates to allow it to be worn on either ear. The Jabra Biz1500 Duo is a popular one with the loyal Jabra (previously known as GN Netcom) followers for its basic, durable style and low price point. The Biz1500 series will be replacing the hugely popular GN2000 range.

The Good
The Jabra Biz1500 Mono is a good-quality headset for those looking for a basic, durable solution. It comes with a lightweight adjustable headband and a noise-cancelling microphone, which prevents any unwanted noise from being heard by your callers. The Biz1500’s hardy design makes it an excellent solution for heavy-handed users in call centre-type environments.
Unlike the previous GN2000 range, the Biz1500 is a wideband headset that gives great clarity and sound to the user.
The Not So Good
As with any corded headset, with the Biz1500, you are tied to your computer via a cable. This can be frustrating when wires lie across your desk and get in the way of papers or drop down and get crushed & tangled under chair wheels. If your work requires that you get up from your desk (whether on a call or not), you’ll need to unplug the headset or take it off each time & plug in/ put it back on when you return. If you do this a lot, it can get super-annoying, so a wireless headset could save you time, hassle (and hair!).
