Further enhancing its flexibility, the mic also includes a detachable metal pop filter for reducing undesirable plosives and sibilance, and a mic stand adapter to ensure the ProCast can reliably mount to most stands and boom arms, whether they be 3/8 or 5/8" threads.

Large Diaphragm for a Big Sound
ProCast's design enables better high-frequency details compared to electret and dynamic mics and improved low-frequency performance over smaller diaphragm condensers. The cardioid polar pattern emphasizes sounds in front of the mic, making it perfect for voiceovers, streaming, vocals, podcasts, or other single-source audio recording. The ProCast requires 48V of phantom power, so connect it via XLR cable to interfaces or preamps to start your recording.

The ProCast's switchable 80 Hz filter helps reduce unwanted low-end frequencies like rumbles and vibrations. The passive attenuation of the -10 dB pad switch allows the mic to handle high sound pressure level sources of audio.
