Great in low light
FUJINON’S unique EBC coating allows 95% of light to pass through the binoculars, being great for low-light performance. The high-quality EBC multi-coating which has been used on all the lenses and prisms increases the light permeability for bright, natural colour reproduction, providing greater overall image clarity.
Built for distance
Featuring a minimum focus distance of 51.2m, a field of view of 4°, and an apparent field of view of 58.4°; the Fujinon 16x70 MTR-SX is clearly built for distance viewing, with its magnification of 16x providing exceptional detail. The objective lens diameter of 70mm allows a lot of light into the lenses, which will be ideal for pursuits such as stargazing, though you may need a tripod for extended and stable viewing. At dawn, dusk or with dense tree cover, having a high exit pupil number such as this can make viewing easier.
High-quality construction
Using a field-flattener lens provides sharp images from edge to edge, with no distortion. Rubber armouring on the body ensures stability by allowing users to have a firm grip, even with one hand, and the additional benefit of preventing slipping even when wet.
Durable in their design, the binoculars have a shock and impact-resistant body constructed to a military standard. The eye relief offered by the binoculars is 15.5mm which will be ideal for glasses wearers and comfortable long viewing sessions.
