What camera features do you need to use the Elgato Cam Link 4K?
Clean HDMI
Clean HDMI output is simply footage that excludes overlays such as recording time, remaining storage space, focus point, and more. Dive into your camera's menu and turn them all off before starting your live stream.
If these overlays cannot be deactivated, Cam Link will capture them. As such, when using the Elgato Cam Link 4K, a camera with a clean HDMI output (no overlays) is recommended.
Unlimited Runtime
