It's smart and adaptable

Enjoy undisrupted audio playback with improved audio-and-video synchronization with the aptX Adaptive codec. When connected, the codec allows you to prioritize between a selection of dynamic bit-rate (High Quality) or dynamic latency (Low Latency) adaptation based on your needs. aptX Adaptive (High Quality) is selected by default. The selection is accessible within the Creative app.
Low Latency mode effectively brings down latency to approximately 50 ms*, perfect for games and movies where latency requirements are a lot more demanding.
Note: Latency measurements are obtained from Qualcomm's aptX Adaptive documents.
aptX Adaptive High Quality supports exceptional audio quality even at lower bit rates. With aptX Adaptive High Quality, you can enjoy aptX HD quality scaling up to 420 kbps, great for high-resolution music.

The intuitive device switching function on Creative BT-W5 allows you to easily change the output device you are connected to, with literally just a press of a button.
It connects you, your way
Communications
Switch from whatever you're listening to and pick up a short phone call instantly! Double press on the Bluetooth button on Creative BT-W5 to enter HFP mode, and use voice chat with the built-in microphone on your Bluetooth headset.
Best for PC and Mac, where the likelihood of audio pickup, for example, keyboard typing noises from the desktop, is high. Bluetooth codecs (aptX Adaptive, aptX, and SBC) will not be available.
HFP Mode
- Connect the Creative BT-W5 to your device
- Switch on your connected Bluetooth headset
- After it is connected, double-press the button on Creative BT-W5
- The LED indicator will switch to red, indicating that it is now in HFP mode
