The Canson Baryta Photographique II Matt 310gsm A3+ x 25 Sheets has an exquisitely smooth surface with a matt finish which accentuates the detail in the printed image. An additional benefit to this totally matt surface is also that it has no light reflection from any viewing angle, making this paper the perfect choice for photographers or artists who wish to display their work.
Despite being classed as a digital darkroom photo paper, Baryta Photographique II Matt should be printed using matt black ink as opposed to photo black ink. With an extremely high D-Max, or black density, equivalent to that of a digital fine art matt paper, the paper offers exceptional contrast and depth, as well as colours with vibrancy and intensity. As the paper is made on a traditional photographic alpha-cellulose base, this adds to the authentic feel of a darkroom paper.
