Ideal for content creators, filmmakers, and journalists seeking a versatile mic for numerous field applications, the Atomos StudioSonic Shotgun Mic is a shotgun condenser mic with both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless operation. Featuring a wireless receiver with a bright OLED screen for monitoring your signal and both digital USB-C and analog 3.5mm wired outputs, the StudioSonic can handle nearly any shooting scenario.
Manual controls for the microphone include a selectable 75/150 Hz low-cut filter, high-frequency boost, and manual gain control. With the wireless mode engaged, you get extremely low latency of under 20ms with up to 328' line of sight. The supercardiod polar pattern ensures a highly focused pickup that avoids environmental noise in favor of your subject. The mic features an internal rechargeable battery that provides up to eight hours of battery life in wireless mode and up to 50 hours of operation in wired mode. When you want wired connectivity directly to your computer or smart device, the StudioSonic offers 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio output with excellent voice isolation. The StudioSonic includes the wireless receiver, a USB-C locking cable, a 3.5mm TRS cable, fur and foam windshields, an adjustable pole mount, an Atomos Quick-Release mount, and an Atomos-branded carrying case.
