How do I develop my film?
Visit any of our digiDirect stores to
drop off your 35mm or 120 film. Our staff will ask you a
few questions about how you would like your film
processed. Then leave the rest to us. Other formats can
be developed but we may need more time.
How long does it take to develop a roll of film?
A same-day service is usually available upon request; otherwise, processing typically takes between 1–3 days depending on the photo lab's workload and service required.
Can you develop disposable cameras?
Yes, we can develop disposable cameras! Just drop it off and
we'll take care of the rest — developing, scanning, and
printing if you'd like. And if you've had fun shooting with
a disposable camera, we can help you get set up with another
one for your next adventure.
What happens if my roll of film comes out blank?
If it turns out that your film is blank, we'll let you
know by email or phone. Sadly, there's no way to recover
any images from a blank roll — but don't worry, we'll
issue you a credit note to use on future scans or
prints. To help avoid this next time, double-check that
your film is loaded correctly and that your camera is
advancing properly. If you're unsure or just want some
peace of mind, feel free to drop by for a chat — we're
always happy to help you get the most out of your film!
Why did my film come out blank?
There are several reasons why your film could have come
out blank, but the most common are:
- Film not loaded correctly
- Exposure to light
- X-Ray damage
-
Issues with the film camera itself, such as age
or improper storage.
What kinds of film do you process?
We process C-41 and B&W film in 135 (35mm), 120, 110, and APS formats.

posting, and they will provide you with the mailing
instructions.
Do all your stores have a lab?
Not every store has an in-house lab, but we've got you
covered. Our Sydney CBD store doesn't have a lab
on-site, but you can drop off your film or print jobs
there. We'll process them at our Bondi Junction lab and
return everything to the CBD store promptly for easy
pickup.
