This Xlite Pro Umbrella Strip softboxes benefit is that they create a long, thin column of light that is commonly used to separate the subject and the background. Its advantage includes the elongated strip softbox length and narrow width that create a very precise shaft of light that only the Xlite Pro Strip softboxes can make. Photographers use strip softboxes as a hair light or rim light for portrait, fashion, and beauty shots, it works when the narrow column of light from the strip creates an even light across the subject which results in separating them from the background. Not like a regular square or rectangular softbox, this version does not send light across the rest of the frame.
