Focus lock

[Custom button Fn1] is focus lock button. After pressing the Fn1 button, the [Fn icon] will be displayed in yellow. At this time, the functions specified by the camera can be performed. For more information, please refer to the relevant instructions on [Custom control] in the camera's operation manual. (For cameras of some models, the focus lock button of this lens is invalid. For compatibility information, please refer to the camera's operation manual.

Press the focus lock button in AF mode to cancel AF. At this time, the focus will be locked, and you can release the shutter when the focus is locked. Release the focus lock button while half-pressing the shutter, and AF will be restarted

A B preset object distance operation

[Custom button Fn2] Can switch the present object distance of Point A and Point B. When the [A B preset object distance icon] is gray A icon, it indicates that the preset object distance of Point A is ready; at this time, press the Fn2 button, and the [A B preset object distance icon]will display a yellow B icon. indicating that the lens is readjusted at this time, the [A B object distance icon] will turn gray again

A B preset object distance update

If you need to updated the object distance of Point A, adjust the object distance the position you need to update when the [A B preset object distance icon] displays the A icon, and then press and hold the [Custom button Fn2]; when the A icon is displayed in green, release the button to complete the object distance update of point A. (The resetting step for the object distance of Point B is the same as that of Point A)

To attach the lens

Align the white index on the lens barrel with the white index on the camera, then insert the lens into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it locks

To detach the lens

While holding down the lens release button on the camera, rotate the lens counterclockwise until it stops, then detach the lens.

Please place the back of the lens upward to avoid scratches on the lens surface and the electronic contacts.

Lens cap

When the lens is detached, please cover it with a dust cap. Align the mounting index on the dust cap with the mounting index on the lens, then rotate the cap counterclockwise until it stops. And rotate it counterclockwise when removing the cap

Lens Hood

Len Hood is used to reduce flare or scattering light of ghost and avoid rain, snow, and dust sticking to the front of the lens

Attaching the lens hood

Align the attaching index on the lens hood with the index on the lens, then insert the lens hood into the lens mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks, and the step index on the lens hood should match the index on the lens

Detaching the lens hood

Rotate the lens hood counterclockwise until the attaching index is aligned with the index on the lens, and then remove the lens hood can be attached or stored in the opposite direction
