This Sony ECM‑G1 Shotgun Microphone is a compact, high‑directionality on‑camera mic designed to deliver clean, focused audio that instantly elevates your video quality. This pre‑owned unit offers excellent value, giving creators a noticeable upgrade over built‑in camera microphones without adding bulk or complexity to their setup. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for travel, vlogging, interviews and everyday shooting, ensuring your audio stays crisp and clear wherever you film.
With its super‑cardioid pickup pattern, the ECM‑G1 isolates your subject’s voice and reduces ambient noise, making dialogue more intelligible even in busy environments. Whether you’re recording indoors or outdoors, the mic captures natural, detailed sound with minimal background interference. Its shock‑mount structure helps suppress handling noise, while the wind screen reduces unwanted wind rumble, giving you cleaner results straight out of the camera.
The ECM‑G1 is also incredibly easy to use — simply mount it, plug it in, and start recording. It’s compatible with a wide range of Sony cameras, and models with a Multi Interface Shoe can even enjoy cable‑free operation and power. For creators who want reliable, high‑quality audio in a small, hassle‑free package, this pre‑owned Sony ECM‑G1 is a smart, affordable upgrade that delivers professional clarity without the professional price tag. Note : It is missing the recording cable
