The body design is impressively sleek yet still ergonomic, making it ideal for all-day shooting. A high-resolution 2.36m-dot OLED EVF is present for comfortable eye-level viewing. It has a 1.02x magnification and uses NIKKOR optics to guarantee a sharp, clear image.

A large-diameter, short-flange back Z mount common to Z 7 / Z 6 can be used with various NIKKOR Z lenses, from NIKKOR Z DX zoom lenses to S-Line lenses that support the FX format, providing a high image quality unique to the Z mount system.
