This near-mint, pre-owned Laowa 9mm D-Dreamer F2.8 for Fujifilm X Mount is a fast, bright, ultra-wide-angle prime Lens. It is a rectilinear lens with a sophisticated optical design that effectively limits distortion, i.e. “Zero-D"(distortion).

Pairing an ultra-wide-angle field of view with an especially compact design, this Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D from Venus Optics is a Fujifilm X Mount lens offering a 13.5mm equivalent focal length. As a Zero-D lens, this 9mm f/2.8’s optical design is specifically designed to limit distortion for clear, accurate portrayals of landscapes and architectural subjects. The optical construction also incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations, improving sharpness and reducing colour fringing. A Frog Eye Coating has been applied, too, to repel dust and moisture from the front element of the lens, helping work in challenging environmental conditions. Its sleek, lightweight design is well-matched to mirrorless bodies and ideal for everyday shooting as well as use on gimbals. Additionally, a petal-shaped lens hood is incorporated into the lens’s design to reduce flare and ghosting in strong lighting conditions.

The "Zero-D”, means that it doesn’t give the fisheye effect, it just gives an ultra-wide image, similar to a shift lens that removes distortion.
