The ideal cage for any Canon EOS R1 camera rig, this SmallRig Camera Cage expands the R1's mounting points without hampering access to its necessary functions. Featuring Arca-type quick-release plates on its bottom and side, the cage allows the R1 to be mounted vertically or horizontally for portrait and landscape shooting. Two cold shoes and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes allow for extensive accessory attachment and rig customisation.
Built from durable, lightweight aluminium alloy, this cage attaches securely to the EOS R1 via a 1/4"-20 screw and dual side locating blocks, protecting it from scratches with its built-in silicone pads. It provides full access to the R1's flip-out screen, hot shoe, battery compartment, SD card slot, buttons, and ports. It includes multiple slots for camera strap attachment and a dual-head wrench that fits neatly in the cage's base.
