This kit includes a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, and an ergonomic top handle that enhances camera movement for smooth ground-level shots.
The cage attaches securely using a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and a side locating block, allowing for anti-deflection fixation without the need to remove the camera’s eyelet triangles. Built-in pads offer all-around protection and prevent scratches. Precision cutouts ensure unobstructed access to camera ports, dials, buttons, and the battery compartment. A hinged arm at the battery compartment adds grip support for the little finger, and the included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable for stable data transmission.
Multiple mounting points are incorporated, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a “HawkLock” NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench for quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick release plate, paired with the “HawkLock” H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), allows for rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 /RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 5 stabilizers).
