The PolarPro Summit Thread Plate 82mm is the connector that connects the PolarPro Summit filter system to the camera. Screws onto the lens thread (82mm) and serves as a support flange for the attachable base frame of the PolarPro Summit system.
The threaded plate is made of alloyed aircraft-grade aluminum using an innovative high-precision casting method with the simultaneous formation of a spatially distributed stiffening frame, which gives the structure minimal weight and maximum strength.
This prevents distortion of the bearing surface and allows the PolarPro Summit filter system to rotate exactly parallel to the objective lens without introducing geometric distortions into the image. Thanks to additional precision machining, the PolarPro Summit 82mm threaded plate fits perfectly on all compatible lenses and installation is a breeze.
