To improve the positioning flexibility of Manfrotto's tripods, a shorter centre column is available as an accessory which can be ordered separately. If you need to work with legs set at the third angle of inclination (about 60° C) but still require the possibility to move the camera up and down to achieve perfect adjustment for the shot, this shorter column replaces the one supplied with the tripod.
