The Lexar Professional Workflow CFexpress 4.0 Type A Reader is made to pair with one of the drive bays in their Professional Workflow Docking Station and Workflow Go via its 40 Gb/s USB-C interface. However, it also includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, allowing it to be used independently. In addition to its CFexpress 4.0 Type A card slot also features Windows and Mac compatibility, backward compatibility with CFexpress 2.0 Type A, and an aluminium finish for scratch resistance. If your system doesn't support the 40 Gb/s USB4 standard, this card reader is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and later, although it will operate with reduced transfer rates reflective of those standards.
