Designed to be easy to use in the dark, the Zeiss DTI 6/40 Thermal Monocular from ZEISS will help you find your targets when hunting or observing wildlife. The monocular-style camera has a range of 2187 yards, with 1.5x optical magnification, and 10x digital zoom in 0.1-1.0x steps for precise target identification. Imagery is displayed on a 1024 x 768 AMOLED display, with five color palettes, preset Fog, Universal, Discover, and Identify modes, plus the ability to set up to four observation profiles with your preferred settings.
The DTI 6/40 records up to 16GB of photos and video, but you can also share data to your phone via the ZEISS Hunting app. The scroll wheel makes it equally easy to use with either hand, even when wearing gloves. Powered by a rechargeable li-ion battery that is easily swapped out in the field, the camera has a runtime of up to 6.5 hours. It measures about 9" long and weighs about 25 ounces.
This proprietary algorithm optimizes the thermal images from the sensor in a three-stage process for a detailed and high-contrast image, even when a cold sky threatens to darken the view. You no longer need to aim low, and you can keep game in the center of the frame.
The newly designed scroll wheel allows both left- and right-handed users to select zoom levels or menu items quickly and precisely, even in stressful hunting situations or while wearing gloves. An extendable eyepiece allows comfortable use with or without eyeglasses.
The battery allows 6.5 hours of continuous observation and is easily replaceable. It can also be recharged using a standard power bank and thus ensures you never runs out of power. The standby mode is activated contactless—if the DTI 6 is put down or picked up, it switches itself off or on.
Personal settings can be saved in up to four observation profiles so you are equipped for any situation. Select your preferred zoom speed, adjust the duration of the stand-by timer, configure the LED, and create your own color palettes, the DTI 6 can be customized to suit your preferences and specific needs. Preset Fog, Universal, Discover, and Identify observation modes help tailor the view to the respective hunting situation.
The DTI 6 is fully integrated into the ZEISS Hunting app and can reliably connect to your smartphone. Data is transferred between the DTI 6 and the app via energy-efficient Bluetooth technology, but switches to Wi-Fi automatically when processing large amounts of data. The ZEISS Hunting app allows you to customize and configure the DTI 6 according to your individual needs and requirements.
