The SmallRig MagSafe / Cold Shoe Universal 2-in-1 SSD Holder 4779 is designed for connecting USB-C external hard drives during smartphone photography. It is compatible with 8.0 - 16.0mm / 0.3 - 0.6in thick SSDs, primarily Samsung T7, Samsung T7 Shield, and Samsung T9 models. The clamp features a slide-in cold shoe mount that can be quickly installed at the base of the clamp, allowing attachment to various devices. Remove the cold shoe mount for MagSafe magnetic attachment at desired locations, such as laptops or iPhones with MagSafe. Both installation methods are simple and swift, facilitating seamless transitions between usage scenarios. Besides, the clamp features silicone padding to prevent scratches on the SSD. A cable clamp at the base secures the USB-C cable with a thumbscrew for convenient and stable data transmission. Additionally, it includes a metal ring sticker for versatile use in various settings.
Note: The clamp is compatible with PSSDs ranging in thickness from 8 to 16mm (0.3 to 0.6in), with no restrictions on width.
