SmallRig Magic Arm Magnetic Suction Cup Mounting Support Kit for Action Cameras

The SmallRig Magic Arm & Magnetic Suction Cup Mounting Support Kit attaches action cameras to flat, metal surfaces using a durable magnetic suction cup, and on top is an adjustable magic arm. The mount is designed to be used with moving vehicles going less than 74 mph. This is particularly useful for vloggers, reality television productions, and other low-impact applications.

Action cameras equipped with a standard three-prong mounting platform are fastened to an included adapter, which sports a 1/4"-20 threaded receiver. This screws into the dual ball magic arm that is integrated into a bar connecting the suction cups, providing nearly 360° of pan, tilt, and roll. A simple push allows action cameras of up to 0.76 kg to be securely attached to clean, flat surfaces. The integrated magnets provide added security on metal surfaces such as aluminium, iron, or steel.

NOTE: The mount does not include a safety tether, so a separately available safety tether is highly recommended when using it on vehicles at high speed. It is not used on glass, carbon fibre, special alloy metal, painted surfaces, marble, textured wallpaper, diatom mud walls, unpainted wood, frosted glass, or other rough or textured surfaces.

Usage Notes

• The package does not include a safety tether, so use a separately available tether when using at high speed. It is recommended to keep the speed below 74mph and check the suction force before use and every hour.
• This product can only be used on flat metal surfaces or other magnetic flat surfaces. To use it on a flat glass surface, it is recommended to purchase SmallRig 3566 and 4193 Suction Cup Mounts.
• It is strictly prohibited to use the Magnetic Suction Cup Mounting Support Kit on the following surfaces: glass (e.g. car windows, front windshields, etc.), carbon fibre, special alloy metal, painted surfaces,  marble, textured wallpaper, diatom mud walls, unpainted wood, frosted glass, and other rough or textured surfaces.
• Do not use in the following scenarios: surfing, skiing, or other high-impact sports.
• Do not use in prolonged contact with water or rain in the following environments.
• Do not use it with a mobile phone clamp for dynamic photography.
• Do not use it with a selfie stick for dynamic photography.
• Safe usage temperature range: -20 to 60°C.
