Using a 1.4x teleconverter with a 300 mm lens will effectively increase the focal length to 420mm. A lens set to f/2.8
Sigma 1.4x DG EX APO Teleconverter for Sony A and Minolta HSM Mount features wide field of view that covers focusing flexibility to get enlarged and detailed images reducing the effort to purchase or carry an additional telephoto lens. It features ultra-fast auto-focus system in addition with manual settings. It is an APO (Apochromatic) optic to reduce chromatic aberration to negligible amount while keeping high resolution. It incorporates multi-layered coatings to produce brighter, sharp and high contrast images with minimised glare.
Note: Sigma APO Tele Converter 1.4x and 2x are dedicated teleconverter lenses. Due to the high optical quality of this teleconverter, this item will only fit and work with a select list of lenses. Please refer to the Sigma Australia website for further information on lens compatibility
