We're scratching our heads as to why Jabra has removed functionality on an improved model, but there it is. They have developed a new digital 'chipset' to support the new features and outstanding audio; the materials used also ensure that the look and feel of the Evolve2s is really high-end. It features a triple-mic noise-cancelling system that is Microsoft Office Certified, meaning others on calls will only hear your voice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"m Text\"\u003eYou will, of course, get the professional sound quality both ways for your calls, and Jabra has levelled up with powerful speakers so you can really enjoy your music whilst you work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"m Text\"\u003eThese days, a lot of workers struggle with background noise, and this is where the Evolve2s really shine; The larger, oval, isolating foam-padded cups are also angled to ensure an excellent fit, eliminating lots more background noise for you. Note that the Evolve2 40s don't have active noise cancelling (technology that blocks out background noise for the user). For this feature, consider the Bluetooth Evolve 75 or Evolve2 85. However, the ear cushions are excellent at making the noise around you fade away.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"m Text\"\u003eIt's all very well having a fabulous headset, but if it's not comfortable to wear, it's just a cool ornament or desk clutter. No worries on that front; Jabra have added a wide, memory foam-padded headband, so this, along with the super-cushioned earcups, makes it lovely to wear all day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"m Text\"\u003eSick of being interrupted when you're trying to concentrate? Evolve2s have a busy light on the front and back of the earcup, so colleagues in front AND behind can see if you're on a call. Got a deadline to meet and don't want to be bothered? That can be annoying when it inevitably drops off your desk, but the Evolve2 40s have put all that functionality back into the headset. There's a mute button, volume + \u0026amp; - which double as jump forward or back track, play\/pause, and of course an easy to find answer\/hang up button. There's other cool stuff - you can mute by pushing the mic up (and down to unmute).
