The Syrp Genie One Motion Control Pan Head/Linear Drive provides a versatile platform for creating motorized/motion control pans, or it can be used with the Genie rope and hooks to turn your manual slider into a motorized/motion-controlled rig. The versatile Genie One is also compatible with nearly any third-party slider with a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud on the carriage. Capable of supporting up to 1.5kgs for horizontal moves or pans, the Genie one can pan at a rate of 60° per second, or track at a little more than 3.8cm per second when mounted on a slider. It also supports up to 1.5kgs when used on a slider in a vertical position. You can mount a Genie II pan/tilt head onto the top of the Genie One, creating a 3-axis motorized/motion control unit.
Features include reduced friction on the rope drive, panoramic shooting for stills, a turntable mode for showcasing products, motion-controlled video, time-lapse mode for stills, and keyframing with the downloadable app for smartphone and tablet control via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Quiet operation and a compact portable design enable you to use the Genie One almost anywhere your travel. It features an integrated rechargeable battery that will last for approximately 48 hours when shooting time-lapse and five hours of continuous video shooting. The battery is recharged via a USB Type-C cable.
