The new 20 Megapixels sensor of the Canon EOS R6 offers amazing resolution for large prints, landscape and architecture photography or for any photographer that likes to refine their compositions when editing. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

The World’s fastest AF focusing speed of 0.05 seconds. 100% autofocus (AF) frame coverage with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Track subjects to every corner of the frame with 100% x 100% AF frame coverage.

The updated Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system of the EOS R6 features 1053 selectable focusing points, which cover approximately 100% of the image frame for wide and even coverage. This focusing system offers smooth and fast focusing performance and also advanced AF subject tracking for human eye, face and head detect and animal eye, face and whole body detect.

This system integrates two separate photodiodes within each pixel to provide a broad and dense network of phase-detection gathering elements across a majority of the image sensor to reduce focus hunting for faster, more direct control of focus placement.

When shooting video, a Movie Servo AF mode offers smooth and natural focusing when changing from different subjects or different distances within the scene, as well as the ability to specify tracking sensitivity, AF speed, and Face Tracking priority.

Benefited by the Touch AF system, rack focus is possible simply by touching elements within the scene on the touchscreen in order to change focus in an intuitive manner. Subject tracking in movies is also heightened due to the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system's ability to recognize subjects and maintain focus when working within changing or cluttered scenery.

1053 AF zones ensure complete frame coverage for the camera to select automatically. In manual mode, there are up to 5940 user-selectable AF point positions to choose from!

Canon has put a responsive electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 3.69m-dot resolution in the EOS R6 which promises smooth performance when switching between using the monitor and the EVF while also being great for burst shooting. The viewfinder supports brightness, colour tone and fine-tuning of colour tone adjustments as well as having optimised EVF optics.

3.0" Vari-angle LCD Touch Screen with 1.62 Million Dot Resolution
