With the boom in a vertical position, the stand rises to a maximum height of 12.9'. The boom arm can tilt 180°. The tilting mechanism is simple and features a sturdy locking lever, and while extended allows you to position a light above your frame without seeing the stand in the shot. A reversible 5/8" mounting stud, with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded studs, is included, as well as an empty counterweight bag that you can fill on location.
