The Lastolite Diffuser Halo 2 Stop Compact Round Collapsible 82cm for image makers who want to travel light while taking full advantage of ambient light or minimal lighting gear to produce polished work. Able to set up in seconds, the Halo is built around a rigid metal frame to which the 2-stop diffusion material is attached. The versatile diffuser can be held or mounted in front of a light source, acting like an open-sided softbox to provide a soft, flattering quality of light with reduced contrast. Another frequent use is holding the Halo up over the subject's head to tame the harsh midday sun.

The supporting ring has a large, ergonomic handle that makes for a secure, comfortable grip when angling the Halo or holding it overhead. The frame also has 1/4" female threads and a 1/4" to 1/4" adapter for mounting options. The Halo folds down to a fraction of its open size to fit in the included bag for storage and transport.

The HaloCompact is a completely new, patent pending design concept that makes the everyday diffuser panel even more portable than ever!

Unlike many traditional diffuser panels that incorporate a steel rim pop up design, the 82cm (32") HaloCompact is constructed using Lastolite By Manfrotto's new innovative RapidExoframe technology. The collapsible lightweight aluminium frame quickly slots together and the diffuser fabric cover simply clips onto the frame. The cleverly designed RapidExoframe construction allows the frame to breakdown into small multiple sections and along with the folded fabric packs into a carry case

The ultra-compact folded dimensions make the HaloCompact the perfect solution for Photographers on the move or with very limited carrying space. It now means a diffuser can always be carried in the camera bag rather than having to consider whether to take an extra bag or not. A handy carabinerstyle clip also allows the user to clip the HaloCompact to their belt if out on location with their camera only and no camera bag.
