The Hoya 82mm UX II CIR-PL Filter is reflected by electrically non-conductive surfaces is more or less polarised depending on the angle of incidence, i.e. its vibrations are not evenly distributed in all directions, but preferably aligned in one plane. A polarizing filter allows such light to pass through, weaken or block this layer depending on the arrangement of the filter, without impairing the colour neutrality of your shots.
