When configured like standard softboxes without the front diffuser, the Rotalux acts like a combination of a large reflector and a silver umbrella offering wide coverage and crisp rendition of details. Slip-on the included front diffuser and the soft, wrap-around light quality that Octa-type softboxes are known for becomes evident.

The Rotalux's depth of 150cm allows you to use the "indirect" speed ring to bounce the light into the back of the softbox for yet another degree of contrast. Finally, slip on the front diffuser for extremely, soft delicate light that will flatter any subject.
