One of the best handhelds stabilized vlogging cameras have been upgraded, the DJI Pocket 2 is here with improved audio capture, new modular design and better image quality.

The DJI Pocket 2 gimbal camera main difference to the original Osmo Pocket is way better audio. It now contains a brand new four-microphone array capable of adjusting the audio recording based on where the camera is facing using DJI SoundTrack, and it will also automatically narrow the sound field when the camera zooms using the new Audio Zoom feature. A larger 1/1.7-inch image sensor compared to the previous 1/2.3-inch sensor plus a wider 20mm field-of-view with f/1.8 aperture improves the DJI Pocket 2's low light capabilities, and an HDR video option will also be available.

DJI Pocket 2's upgraded internals enables 64 megapixels still images or up to 8x zoom when in 64mp mode and the maximum video quality is 4K/60fps ensuring your next vlog is both crisp, detailed and super smooth thanks to the built-in 3-axis gimbal.

A passive cooling system quietly dissipates heat, and a rechargeable battery enables the DJI Pocket 2 to record up to 140 minutes. The bottom portion of the Pocket 2 camera’s handle can now be swapped out and replaced with other options thanks to its new modular design. Compatible accessories include DJI’s “Do-It-All” handle which includes a tripod base, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, speaker, 3.5mm jack, and wireless microphone receiver. Other accessories include a wide-angle lens and waterproof housing.
