It directly mounts to the accessory bay on the rear of the camera, allowing the use of 14.4V V-mount batteries while also leaving the camera’s battery bay available for a BP-A style pack for hot-swapping capabilities. To power additional accessories, it’s equipped with two power taps and one USB.
